Im aktuellen Hochschulranking des Centrums für Hochschulentwicklung (CHE) kann die FAU wieder punkten: In den Fächern Jura, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen und Wirtschaftswissenschaften überzeugt die Universität insbesondere in der Kategorie „Unterstützung am Studienanfang“ mit Spitzenwerten.

Die FAU gehört in vier Fächern zu den besten 200 Universitäten weltweit. Das geht aus dem aktuellen QS World University Ranking by Subject hervor. Besonders gut haben die Werkstoffwissenschaften (Materials Science) mit einem Rang in den Top 100 abgeschnitten. Weitere FAU-Fächer in den Top 200 sind Chemie, Chemieingenieurwesen und Elektrotechnik.

FAU has once again won second place among the most innovative universities in Germany. The University came in at place 49 in the global comparison, moving up three places from last year’s ranking.

FAU has performed excellently in another ranking. After top placements in the THE and Shanghai rankings, the University has now obtained excellent results in the Master’s degree programme ranking by the Centre for Higher Education (CHE).

Continued success for FAU: after the excellent results in the Shanghai Ranking, which rated FAU among the top 200 universities in the world for the first time, the University has also been ranked highly in the QS World University Ranking. FAU is number 20 in the world – and number 1 in Germany – for the prestigious indicator 'citations per faculty'.

A great success for FAU: in the current Academic Ranking of World Universities, also known as the Shanghai Ranking, the University is ranked among the top 200 universities in the world for the first time.

FAU has performed excellently in the recently published Shanghai subject ranking: the natural sciences appear in the top 100 in the world for the first time at number 92, while medicine has gone up by 80 places compared to last year and now ranks at number 111.

FAU is ranked at number 76 in the world and number 19 in Western Europe in the Nature Index 2016 Rising Stars Supplement, which rates universities based on the increase in their contributions to leading natural science journals.

Young engineers at FAU give the University top marks and gladly recommend it to other students. This is the result of the Engineering Edition of the Graduate Barometer.

FAU's position among the world's top universities has been confirmed once again in the latest list by the Center for World University Rankings, which puts FAU at number 194 internationally.
